Angela Bindner Obituary

Angela Lynne (Henley) Bindner, a devoted mother, sister, and friend passed away unexpectedly on February 10, 2026. Above all else, Angie was the proud and loving mom of her son, Joey Bindner (22) of Bucyrus, Ohio, who was her greatest joy.

Angie was born in Columbus, Ohio on November 4, 1978 to Mark and Susan (Walters) Henley, and grew up in Reynoldsburg, Ohio where she built lifelong memories. She graduated from Reynoldsburg High School and later earned an Associate’s Degree in Technical and Graphic Communication from Columbus State Community College. Angie spent most of her professional career at JPMorgan Chase, where she worked across several departments and was known for her dedication and humor.

Angie had a deep love for movies, pop culture, and trivia, and her knowledge was legendary. Long before Google or IMDb were household names, Angie was the go to source for movie quotes, actors, and delightfully obscure film facts. She knew so much she could connect any two actors within 7 degrees of separation.  Growing up, she was also famously unbeatable at Monopoly and Rummy, often prompting her sisters to waive white flags of surrender as Angie claimed yet another victory.

Angie is preceded in death by her parents; her maternal and paternal grandparents; her aunts Rita and Marti; her uncles Keith (Pat), Michael, Kenny, and Rex; and her great-aunt Ruth.

She is survived by her beloved son, Joey; her sisters Evelyn (Joe) Shields and Christina (Nick) Sabherwal; her nephews Dylan and Carter Shields; her cousin Keira Walters, her great-aunt and great-uncle Carol and Ralph Walters; and many other cherished cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends who will miss her deeply.

Joey, Christy, and Evelyn and their families will welcome family and friends on March 6, 2026 beginning at 3 p.m. at Cotner Funeral Home in Reynoldsburg. A memorial service will follow at 4 p.m. offering those who knew and loved Angie the opportunity to share stories, reflections, laughter, And memories-just as she would have wanted.
