Kevin Jacks, 46, of Buckeye Nation, passed away peacefully and unexpectedly from natural causes on February 23, 2026. He was born in Columbus, Ohio on August 13, 1979 to Ernest and Sally (Miller) Jacks.
He loved fishing, camping, four wheeling, and being outdoors. Kevin was a true patriot and loved America, defending all who might have doubted it’s strength. He enjoyed watching NASCAR. He was a Buckeye fanatic and celebrated all their wins. More than anything, he loved his family. There was nothing in the world that meant more to him than time with his children and grandchildren.
Kevin is preceded in death by Ernest “Ernie” Eugene Jacks (father), Raven Mackenzie Jacks (granddaughter), grandparents and uncles.
He is survived by his mother, Sally Ann Jacks; his children, Natalie Butterfield (Justin), Nathaniel Jacks (Brianna), Nicholas Jacks, and Hailey Jacks; the mothers of his children, Jodi Pleger and Heather Jacks; grandchildren Elijah & Paisley Butterfield, Ember Jacks, Roman Holder, his siblings, Tracie Fry (Andy), Brian (Stacey) Jacks, Kelley Lieb (Chris), and Amanda Coakley; grandmother Betty Miller; many nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles and cousins.
His family will receive family and friends on March 6 from 10:00 am -12:00 pm at Cotner Funeral Home, 7369 East Main Street, Reynoldsburg, Ohio where his service will be held at Noon. Graveside service and interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
